Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted shared values and community dialogue in Milan, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

Community representatives, families and young people reflected on the importance of respect, honesty, responsibility and peaceful coexistence in daily life. A particular focus was placed on younger generations, with Sri Lankan community leaders encouraging youth participation so that eu news now young people could become familiar with ethical principles that may guide future choices.

According to Ivan Arjona, the Church of Scientology’s representative to European and international institutions, events of this kind reflect the importance of civic cooperation and mutual respect.
